Our family trips to Jellystone Park are a confidence builder for your disabled children, a time to meet other parents, caregivers, and veterans, an amazing change of scenery, and even better, a valuable opportunity for your children to make friends with other kids who also have disabled siblings.

Enjoy fully furnished cabins with kitchens, baths and AC .    If you like to rough it, bring your RV or tents!  Jellystone Park  features the beloved childhood characters of Yogi, Boo-Boo and Cindy Bear!   They specialize in all-inclusive, accessible, safe, outdoor fun with pools, water slides, beach,  jumping pillows, mini golf, arcade, gem mining, hay rides, camp fires, crafts, karaoke, etc.

In addition to the on-campus activities that are included in your DISCOUNTED NIGHTLY RATE, there are dozens of amazing off-campus attractions to experience, such as Kentucky Down Under, Dinosaur World, Kentucky Action Park, Mammoth Cave National Park, and dozens of private caves and caverns to explore.    Your kids will be counting the minutes until the NEXT Jellystone trip!

Extended time together is incredibly therapeutic!

HOW IT WORKS: (read these instructions first, and then book your cabin below)

  1. Visit the campground website to determine which type of cabin or site is best for your family.   Site pricing ranges from $76-$300, depending on your site choice.  Primitive tenting, RVs and campers are welcome.  YOU WILL NOT BOOK THERE, this is only to choose your preferred cabin style.

  2. Contact CANDACE at candace@jellystonemammothcave.com to discuss pricing, site availability, pet-friendly, and other questions you have.

  3. Extend your stay for the whole week with a "Stay 6 nights, get the 7th night free" special!

  4. You can come in any family configuration you want.  Grandparents, cousins, anyone you want to join you is welcome.  Some cabin sites can also accommodate tents for older teens if you have a large family.

  5. ALL ADOPTIVE & FOSTER FAMILIES are welcome, as well as military families (with wounded veterans), and special education teachers and their children.

  6. This trip is perfect for people of ALL AGES & ABILITIES.

  7. Per night costs include use of all on-campus amenities, including the pools, water slide, golf, and arcade.  Karst Beach, their brand new beach facility with water-Wibits, is reasonably priced! No additional per person charges for our group.

  8. There are (2) ADA cabins with ramps and full bathrooms.   We reserve those for families and individuals who are confined to wheelchairs and who need that space.  There are many other cabins  on flat ground, without steps, which are suitable for  those with other mobility issues.  Ask me!

  9.  Golf carts are also available to rent (those are the best part of the trip, I think!)  ($40 a day)

  10. Completely freestyle.  The campground provides a zillion activities for you to participate in at your leisure.  There are no scheduled group activities besides a group photo on Monday morning.  Other than that, you are free to come and go as you please. This is your own private family vacation, in the company of others who innately understand your life!

  11. Bring your own food to cook in or grill out!   Have lunch at the ranger station at Nathan's Famous Hotdogs!  OR, visit one of the dozen restaurants within a 5 mile radius, including Mexican, BBQ, Cracker Barrel, The Front Porch, and other fast food places too.

  12. AFTER YOU REGISTER:  Please join our  private FB group of registered AMR families  so you can all get to know each other better before you come!  None of you will be strangers by the time you arrive!

  13. We will provide yard signs so it's easy to identify who is in what cabins.  We'll also send out a cabin list closer to the time of the event.  Even if you have never camped before, this is the perfect trip for beginners!  We have tons of tips.  Don't be afraid to try it!

  14. T-shirts will be available for purchase in our Cafepress store later next year.

Know a family who'd love to attend but needs some financial help?  You can contribute to their cabin costs (full or partial).

 Your donation is tax deductible!
