Buddy Cruise is an educational conference at sea for FAMILIES of individuals with disabilities.  Bring the whole family and give your kids the trip of a lifetime.

The cruise is entirely free-style except for a few pre-planned group activities.   Join friends for coffee each morning.   Enjoy inspirational speakers and presentations at your leisure throughout the trip.   Participate in the "Buddy Walk at Sea" !    Day and evening kids camps (for under 11) are available, FREE, even for the youngest and those with special needs!  Dances and other evening activities for the adults on board are numerous.   It's fun you forgot you even knew how to have!   And as much as there is to do on board, there are just as many quiet spaces to read, nap and revel in the peace.

After 11 years, the staff at Royal Caribbean are well prepared for their Buddy Cruisers!   Evening meals are together as a group in the main dining room, but the whole rest of each day is free to do as you like.   This is an 8 day cruise with four port stops.  Dozens of amazing excursions to choose from.

Never been on a cruise before?  DON'T WORRY!  Happy to answer all of your questions before you book.  Just a $500 deposit to reserve your stateroom!  The rest is not due until July of 2019.  Get some cheap flights in and out of Orlando!   Follow the process listed below to book now.    (PLEASE BE ADVISED:  there are many group activities planned, ie dances and other things, for the teens and adults with extra needs, but there is no "respite care", as such, available, unless you bring a private caregiver with you to give you a break sometimes.  Go into the Buddy Cruise with the expectation of it being a family trip, not a respite retreat.  If you really need respite, please join us on the #SLEEPMATTERS Cruise for moms & female caregivers in March 2020.

Gift Certificates Available

  1. Familiarize yourself with the HARMONY OF THE SEAS, our ship for 2019.

  2. Check out the deck plans, room types, and on-board amenities!

  3. Research flights into Orlando's airport (ORL)...you will get a shuttle to Cocoa Beach.

  4. Contact Royal Caribbean M-F, 9-7pm, to inquire about group rate pricing for your preferred stateroom.  Remember: suites & ADA rooms will book up fastest.  Don't wait!  Call 877-239-2789 #3

  5. The Buddy Cruise Group ID is # 1551020.

  6. Ask the agent for "best rate".  Even though you are part of the Buddy Cruise group, often times, the cruise line rate is lower than the negotiated group rate.

  7. If you are cruising for the first time, I recommend choosing a room on the lower decks (3 or 4).  This is where the least amount of sea motion is felt.

  8. Have the agent add your pre-paid gratuities, it's easier that way.

  9. Because this is put on outside of AMR, there is no AMR FB event group.  You will join the actual Buddy Cruise FB group.
