About The Event
FOUR nights of peace, sleep and friendship with other special needs moms, adoptive moms, and adult female caregivers who already understand your challenges! Transportation and other meals extra. Our inn functions more like an AirBnB. Breakfast is not provided. Cook in or eat out. Requested donation of $95+ directly supports this respite inn. This weekend can accommodate room sharing if you choose. ADDITIONAL DONATIONS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED. https://www.amothersrest.org/marylandrespiteinn Completely casual, sleep as long as you want. Zero expectations of you. No calendar, no schedule, totally free-style. Only room on the ground floor. This room has a full ADA, handicapped accessible bathroom with roll-in shower. Private exterior entrance with black wrought iron bed. Antique, Amish-made and hand painted black and yellow furniture. Quilt in hues of yellow and gray. Chaise lounge with reading lamp.

One of my favorite rooms! 2nd floor. Antique queen size walnut bed with a patriot flag quilt. Tin roof, perfect for listening to the rain. View of our terrace and gardens, with private back stairs to the kitchen. Open-air, en-suite bath with shower.

Our largest room and former master suite. King size bed. 2nd floor. His and hers bathrooms with two toilets and a shared shower in between. Wrought iron and wood bed with welcoming pineapple hospitality bed sheets. Cooling gel mattress and topper perfect for an amazing nights' sleep. Comfy reading chair with ottoman and light.

Our smallest, but coziest nook of a room. 2nd floor. Double/Full bed done in deep reds and blues and a Pottery Barn quilt. Best suited for people of smaller stature (very small room). Just steps from a large shared bathroom with shower and soaking tub.

3rd floor. Roof top view in our fabulous, newly renovated log-cabin style attic hideaway. Antique, handmade queen bed among the original, hand-hewn rafters. Twin size reading chaise great for napping. Amazing view of the north end of town. Half bath ensuite, shared tub/shower downstairs on the 2nd floor. This room is best suited for people who are physically healthy and have no trouble with stairs.

2nd floor. One of our largest rooms, Beth's Blessing has a queen bed and a twin day bed for lounging. Beautiful view of our terrace and gardens. Shared hall bath with deep soaking tub and shower is directly across the hall.

2nd floor. A beautiful, calming, cozy room in light sage and coral tones. Blonde queen bed with a lovely fireplace (decorative only at this time). Only steps from large shared bathroom with shower and soaking tub.
