About The Event

EXCLUSIVELY FOR SN ADOPTIVE DADS.  3 nights of peace, sleep and friendship with other guys who already understand your challenges! Transportation and other meals extra.  A donation to our general fund is much appreciated to help with basic operational costs. https://www.amothersrest.org/marylandinn  Our in-house Parlor Gift Shop is also open for your convenience!  Completely casual, sleep as long as you want. Zero expectations of you. You don't even have to come out of your room if you don't want to :)

    Our largest room. King size bed in the home's original master suite. 2nd floor. His and hers bathrooms with two toilets and a shared shower in between. Wrought iron and wood bed with welcoming pineapple hospitality bed sheets. Cooling gel mattress and topper perfect for an amazing nights' sleep. Comfy reading chair with ottoman and light.

  • Hammond's Hideaway-3rd Floor

    3rd floor. Roof top view in our newly renovated log-cabin style attic hideaway. Antique, handmade queen bed among the original, hand-hewn rafters. Twin size reading bench great for napping. Amazing view of the north end of town. Half bath en suite, shared tub/shower downstairs. This room is best suited for people who are physically healthy and have no trouble with stairs.

    2nd floor. A beautiful, calming, cozy room in light sage and coral tones. Blonde queen bed with a lovely fireplace (decorative only at this time). Only steps from large shared bathroom with shower and soaking tub.

    Only room on the ground floor. This room has a full ADA, handicapped accessible bathroom with roll-in shower. Private entrance with black wrought iron bed. Antique, Amish-made and hand painted black and yellow furniture. Quilt in hues of yellow and gray.

    2nd Floor. Large, brightly colored room with one queen bed. Lounging twin day bed. Steps away from a large shared bathroom with shower and soaking tub. Fabulous view of our terrace and private back yard.

    Our smallest, but coziest nook of a room. 2nd floor. Double/Full bed with a Tempurpedic mattress and cooling gel topper! Done in deep reds and blues and a Pottery Barn quilt. Best suited for people of smaller stature (small room). Just steps from a large shared bathroom with shower and soaking tub.

    One of my favorite rooms! 2nd floor. Antique queen size walnut bed with a patriot flag quilt. Tin roof, perfect for listening to the rain. View of our terrace and gardens, with private back stairs to the kitchen. Super comfy lounging chair with ottoman and writing desk. Room is just steps from a large shared hall bath with soaking tub.
