At AMR, we deeply understand the need for caregivers to take a break and recharge. Just a change of scenery can often provide a mental reset. That’s why we partner with resorts, VRBOs, and respite organizations to provide affordable, discounted "whole family" trips where parents can bring their children along.
In 2026, we're excited to expand our these family stays in Jekyll Island, GA, family Glamping at Jellystone Park, Ocean City, NJ, Rainbow River, FL, and also 5 nights over Christmas week! The joy of connection and the friendships formed during our group trips are truly invaluable for both parents and siblings alike!

I am not a mother but I am a sister to multiple siblings with developmental disabilities and mental disorders and I only have good things to say about AMR. My parents now have access to a community that can help them not only take well deserved breaks but also provide support and encouragement during their fight to advocate for myself and my siblings.
AMR has been an incredible resource for our family as a whole and given us a community that knows all the struggles we have faced and those yet to come. My family has been shown so much kindness and assistance during our time of need that will not be forgotten or overlooked.
