The Terrace Guest House is the NATION'S FIRST YEAR-ROUND CAREGIVER WELLNESS INN.  Opened to special needs parents & family caregivers in November 2018, this 1798 tavern inn is a refuge of rest for (400) weary parents annually.

 

The Terrace Guest House is a comfortable, casual, restorative, home-away-from-home sanctuary that is open year-round exclusively to eligible special needs parents, adoptive parents,  & family caregivers who have loved ones with disabilities and/or chronic illness.

 

With seven private bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths,  this beautiful, peaceful space restores health, heart, and hope every week, all year long.

 

Contributions from individuals, businesses, churches, foundations, etc make our respite retreats affordable to all caregivers.

  • 100% of all contributions support the basic monthly operating expenses of the house

100% of your donation supports our basic monthly expenses to keep the lights on.   

Donate Monthly

Monthly donors keep the out of pocket costs to guest very low.  You're also eligible for first notice of new retreats.  "Many hands make for light work"!

Bless A Caregiver

It costs AMR $300 PER GUEST for each three-night weekend. Our commitment to minimizing the financial barrier to self-care sets the requested guest donation at just $75. One-time and monthly donations help fill in the gaps in the cost of service.

Sponsor a Week/Month

"Friends of The Terrace" is a great advertising and ministry opportunity for businesses, churches, foundations and private individuals.   $8000 needed monthly.  Several sponsorship levels available.

Sponsor a Room

Each of the (15) rooms in our inn is in need of a sponsor! Your family, foundation, business, church, or social group will be prominently acknowledged on a plaque in the room.  All sponsorship giving is tax deductible.
