​What to Expect on an AMR Retreat

Join us for the respite trip of a lifetime, at the magical, unforgettable, historic Jekyll Island Club Resort.  This 5-star luxury property on the Emerald Coast of Georgia is a "home-away-from-home" for all of us at A Mother's Rest.   This is the site of our Signature Mommy & me retreat, as well as annual Fall Couples trips.   In 2026, we hosted our first whole family trip, and it didn't disappoint!

Three-Four nights of peace, sleep and friendship with other caregiving families who already understand your challenges!      Transportation and other meals extra. Total lodging cost only starts at just $280 a night, with all taxes, fees, and breakfast included!   Luxury accommodations with private baths and sitting areas. 

Although this will be a much larger group than our regular B&B type retreats, it is just as free-style as the others.  Completely casual, sleep as long as you want. Zero expectations of you. You don't even have to come out of your room if you don't want to :)    No calendar, no schedule.  Meet up with other moms or enjoy the solitude on this beautiful island.  Enjoy nature hikes, biking, horse riding on the beach, amazing sunsets, the Sea Turtle Center, boat rides to watch the dolphins, carriage rides around the Historic District, and much more!
