Welcome to the Cottage House Inn and beautiful downtown Lanesboro!
Established in 1993, our casual hotel is family-built, owned and operated. Conveniently located on Parkway Avenue, you will find our location has easy access to the Root River State Trail and is within walking distance to the Commonweal Theatre Company, multiple restaurants and bars, retail shops, the city park, and the Root River!
Open most of the year, the family and group-friendly Cottage House Inn has 13 standard hotel rooms and two apartment suites. Our public spaces include our coffee room where coffee and tea are served all day, our inviting lobby and our meeting room with the capacity to seat 36+ people. The Cottage House Inn makes you feel at home with our clean and comfortable rooms, relaxing front porch and warm hospitality.
We are proud to be a Premier Level Porch Partner for A Mother's Rest, hosting caregivers 4-6 times a year!
What to Expect on an AMR Retreat
This partner hosts moms/women only. Three nights of peace, sleep and friendship with other special needs moms & adult female caregivers who already understand your challenges! Rustic and comfortable, there are several solo queen rooms and numerous two-queen rooms, which are great for moms who already know each other to share! Breakfast provided daily.
If you have to cancel, your ticket is non-refundable and non-transferable. It will revert to a tax-deductible donation that further supports AMR's caregiver respite programs.
