**Military families living with post-deployment challenges (physical and/or emotional)
** Special education teachers and their own families
**Caregivers of their own elderly, infirm parents

AMR family trips are:
-
a confidence builder for your disabled children
-
a time to meet other parents, caregivers, and veterans
-
an amazing change of scenery
-
a valuable opportunity for your NT children to make friends with other kids who also have disabled siblings.
Jellystone Parks feature the fun of Yogi Bear characters & themes, with fully furnished cabins with kitchens, baths and AC! Several are ADA accessible, for those with significant mobility challenges. If you like to rough it, bring your RV or tents!
An amazing activities campus includes a large water park, pickle ball, jumping pillow, hay rides, play grounds, arts & crafts, and other themed organized activities!
Your kids will be counting the minutes until the NEXT AMR Glamp trip!
Extended time together is incredibly therapeutic!
HOW IT WORKS: (read these instructions first, and then book your cabin below)
-
Visit the campground website to determine which type of cabin or site is best for your family. Site pricing ranges from $130-$200 per night, depending on your site choice. USE THE PARK MAP to choose your preferred site numbers. Choose a few in case the one you want is already booked. Primitive tenting, RVs and campers are welcome. YOU WILL NOT BOOK THERE, this is only to choose your preferred cabin style.
-
On August 18, 2025, at 10am, registration will open! Come back to this link to choose your site/cabin, and make your $100 registration donation.
-
Extend your stay for the whole week with our same AMR discounted rate!
-
In MARCH 2026, we will submit a full guest list to the campground. They will contact you directly to set up your billing and make your first $100 deposit towards your stay. You will let them know of your plans for a golf cart at that time as well. Final payment is not due until May 15th, 2026.
-
You can come in any family configuration you want. Grandparents, cousins, anyone you want to join you is welcome. Some cabin sites can also accommodate tents for older teens if you have a large family. Make note of the cabin max occupancy figures.
-
ALL ADOPTIVE & FOSTER FAMILIES are welcome, as well as military families (with wounded veterans), and special education teachers and their children.
-
This trip is perfect for people of ALL AGES & ABILITIES.
-
Per night costs include use of all on-campus amenities. River tubing may be an additional fee.
-
ADA cabins & cottages have ramps and full bathrooms. Please reserve those for families and individuals who are confined to wheelchairs and who need that space. Most other cabins have 2-4 steps up.
-
Golf carts are also available to rent (those are the best part of the trip, I think!) at $55 per night.
-
Completely freestyle. The campground provides a zillion activities for you to participate in at your leisure. There are no scheduled group activities besides a group photo one morning. We also like to schedule one family potluck dinner, and a campfire break for moms, dads, and typical siblings. Other than that, you are free to come and go as you please. This is your own private family vacation, in the company of others who innately understand your life!
-
Bring your own food to cook in or grill out! OR, visit one of the dozen restaurants within a 5 mile radius.
-
AFTER YOU REGISTER: Please join our private FB group of registered AMR families so you can all get to know each other better before you come! None of you will be strangers by the time you arrive!
-
We will provide yard signs so it's easy to identify who is in what cabins. We'll also send out a cabin list closer to the time of the event. Even if you have never camped before, this is the perfect trip for beginners! We have tons of tips. Don't be afraid to try it!
-
T-shirts will be available for purchase in our Cafepress store later next year.
