About The Event

3 nights of peace, sleep and friendship with other special needs moms & caregivers who already understand your challenges! Breakfast daily.   Transportation and other meals extra. Total lodging cost only $160 per guest, single occupancy!  Private baths.  Completely casual, sleep as long as you want. Zero expectations of you. You don't even have to come out of your room if you don't want to :)  *** Tickets are non refundable if you have to cancel, but will support the respite programs at A Mother's Rest.***

  • Spencer Suite

    3 nights lodging and breakfast daily. Large 3rd floor room. In the 1920s, an in-room bathroom was added, and in the 1940's, this room served as one of the master bedrooms. The original marble sink, a lovely window seat, a large flat screen TV with Roku Streaming Device, and nice sitting area provide you with plenty of amenities for your comfort.

  • 2nd Guest-Spencer's Suite

    3 nights lodging with breakfast. Also known as JC's Room. This room is good for two moms who already know each other, as it connects and shares a bath with the Spencer Suite. Separate room with private sleeping space. Queen bed, a sink, a flat screen TV with Roku and shares a Jack and Jill bath with Spencer.

  • Captain's Quarters

    3 nights lodging and breakfast daily. 3rd Floor. Named for the captains of industry that have made Erie such a great waterway. A king-sized bed in a room filled with old world charm gives way to an oversized bathroom complete with a 2-person Jacuzzi tub and separate shower.

  • President's Suite

    3 nights lodging and breakfast daily. 2nd Floor. King-sized 4-poster cherry bed, nonworking fireplace, seating area and a flat screen tv with Roku streaming device. Private bath with tub/shower combo.

  • Mary's Room

    3 nights lodging and breakfast daily. 2nd Floor. Hand-carved 1880s antique queen bed would have been inviting and comfortable. A matching dresser and an embroidered chair complete the furnishings. Two floor-to-ceiling windows look out onto the front and provide plenty of natural light. Two former closets now serve as a private en suite bathroom.

  • The Nursery

    3 nights lodging and breakfast daily. 2nd Floor. Two Double/Full beds. Nonworking fireplace with a beautiful inscribed mantle and an original armoire grace this room. The private bathroom is located just outside the room and is the original bathroom to the house. This bathroom offers an old-fashioned pull-chain water closet and king-sized clawfoot tub with shower.

    3 nights lodging and breakfast daily. 2nd Floor. This room is tucked nicely in the back of the house and is private and cozy. The room features an original marble fireplace (although no longer working), a queen bed and a flat screen TV with Roku streaming device. The curtained off, private hallway is lined in exposed original brickwork and is where the private bathroom, featuring a clawfoot tub with shower, is located.
