A Mother's Rest is a 501c3 non profit which coordinates affordable respite retreats exclusively for parents, caregivers, and spouses of individuals with disabilities.
We support special needs parents, all adoptive & foster parents, men/dads, couples, military families, and those caring for their own parents or spouses.
Acknowledging the extraordinary efforts they put in, we are creating affordable ways for them to make frequent respite and fellowship a proactive part of their health regimen.
Our new "ME TIME" Respite Program is designed to offer more flexible, as-needed respite opportunities nationwide!

*** The therapeutic fellowship that our signature 3-night, whole-house respite retreats provide for parents & caregivers can not be duplicated. That free-style, small group experience is incredibly healing and remains our core service model/format. ***

Many more B&B inns want to support our mamas, but are not in a financial position to offer those heavily discounted, whole-house rates. And many more mamas may be able to get the rest they need with more participating locations at convenient times for their challenging schedule. The need for respite is SO great and EVERYWHERE.

With enough B&B partners, our new "ME TIME" program can close the gap a lot for caregivers and B&B partners alike.

"ME TIME" makes it possible for more B&B's to participate by offering flexible, onesie-twosie respite visits, AS NEEDED, at reasonably discounted and customizable rates year-round. Similar to AAA, "ME TIME" allows for solo moms or couples to come on their own, booking just one room when it's convenient for them, as opposed to a group retreat in the whole house.

*** This is a membership drive that supports both AMR and our caregivers. Each member will be issued an account number valid for one year. Only verified members are eligible for "Me Time" retreats. ***

AMR is a 501c3 tax exempt registered non profit.

You as the innkeeper will field inquiries about availability and bookings from our members directly.

Please verify membership status prior to accepting /completing a reservation.

Guests must abide by your regular booking, payment, and cancelation processes,

Guests must abide by your inn rules as stated on your website.

Guests are responsible for taxes and hospitality expenses above and beyond the room rate.

Your inn and website will be listed on our "Me Time" Resource Page

Your inn would also be added prominently and permanently to our home page.

Our retreats are completely free-style. They are meant to offer recuperative rest.

We don't need anything from you as the innkeeper other than what you already provide. Breakfast, a smile, and some guidance on activities, restaurants, massage options, etc.

AMR does not make any money from these retreats beyond the small annual membership fee that supports our caregiver respite programs.
