WE ARE OPEN!

It's Christmas Eve, a time when most are scrambling to get gifts wrapped and food prepared, looking forward to (or not so much) visits from the in-laws lol But at A Mother's Rest, this is yet another day when we have to be ready to serve.

This year, millions of families are suffering in so many more ways than usual. Perpetual lockdowns, travel bans, gathering bans, no school, no church, no work, no income....if you're fortunate enough to live in a state that is not locked down, count your blessings.

Depression, anxiety, mental health crises, child abuse, drug overdoses, suicide, bankruptcies, isolation....and most of all FEAR....have consumed millions of the parents & caregivers we serve. The grief is tangible.

At A Mother's Rest, we have worked hard all year to keep our chins up and our doors open, seeking continued financial support to support these people who need us even more than before. And we ARE open.

As an ESSENTIAL MENTAL HEALTH CARE PROVIDER, WE ARE OPEN every single weekend at our signature, foundation-owned respite inns in Maryland and Georgia.

We also have a growing calendar, and new Porch Partners, of respite retreat events nationwide available to you at very affordable rates. Grants may be available through our YES! Fund if needed. We currently have partners in Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

YOU can be sure that A Mother's Rest is always here and ready, even prepared to grow by purchasing more of our own year-round respite inns, by supporting our year end 2020 Fundraiser, or by donating throughout the year.

May all of you have a blessed holiday season. May A Mother's Rest, even just our Facebook Support Group, be a source of HOPE and HEALING for you. These are dark times, but WE ARE OPEN.
