Weathering This Storm Together

Friends, during these uncertain times, your financial support, no matter how small, is needed more than ever.

As our April 3 first respite retreat at the new inn in Georgia quickly approaches, A Mother's Rest is facing perilous times. People are afraid to book (understandably), which means no donations, which directly impacts our flow of funding.

We rely on donations from guests and the community to remain open at all. We can't ask the local community, churches, businesses, etc for support, as they are all trying to keep themselves afloat and care for each other.

Even without guests, our innkeeper MUST be paid (we simply can not afford to lose her), as well as our property insurance, electric, and other utilities. We're already on a volunteer staff in Maryland.

We have delayed/cut back our planned landscaping and cottage improvements, and even had to delay the installation of our much-needed parking area on the property.

Even if you yourself might never be able to benefit from the inn in Georgia or Maryland, PLEASE consider contributing so that we can weather this storm together.

Thank you for supporting our efforts, and recognizing how valuable our service is to so many families. Our signature inns remain OPEN (still within CDC guidelines and plenty of social distancing at all locations) to parents and caregivers who probably need a break now more than ever.
